Dandjoo Derbarl Bilya
(Coming together along the Swan River)
Artwork Biography:
This design showcases the Derbarl Bilya (Swan River). The Matagarup bridge crossers the Derbarl Bilya with the WACA and Optus stadium on either side. Within the Bilya are songlines. There is a yarning circle that represents four values aligned with Perth Scorchers being bravery, family, support and community. Lastly each circle represents a different Aboriginal community in Western Australia.
